Design Thinking

Heart & Mind

It's a very unique way of thinking, like seeing the world through a different lens. It's a level of emotion mixed with the right amount of logic, design sensibility and a relentless spirit. It leads to disruptive innovation, and within tech design, it's rationalized into a functional user experience that's meaningful, surprisingly simple, intuitive and beautiful. I live it, breathe it and LOVE it.

It’s a Mindset

Question Everything

I'm an optimist with contagious dynamism, a down-to-earth artist who thrives under pressure and loves being challenged by the insipidness of the status quo.  I thrive in collaborative environments where greatness is a result of the collective efforts and believe designers can and will make the world a better place. I have a natural entrepreneur spirit. I’m a rebel with a (social) cause because at times, that’s exactly what it takes.

Human-Centered

Be Empathic

"People ignore design that ignores people." My design methodology focuses on real human needs, desires and aspirations. Feel it! Through direct observation, ethnography, I dig and try to figure out what makes people tick, what makes them happy and aim to connect, aim to please.

Creative Direction

Vision + Execution

What's vision without execution? A hallucination. A solid vision or that big idea must be paired with the ability to conceptualize it, communicate it through visualizations and storytelling, then owning it: organizing and inspiring a team of fellow designers and making 'ish happen, together as one. That's greatness.

UI/UX Hybrid

Since Before It Was Cool

I don't believe design should ever be fragmented. That’s why my approach is considered hybrid by some (old skool) folks. What I do: fuse design strategy, HCI, UCD, UX, visual design, brand management, advertising, design thinking and art direction. I prefer Lean UX and Agile environments where design helps craft business strategy.
